About

Hi there,

I’m going to assume you’ve read my little bio over to the left, so you know that my name is Saskia, I like books and I’m really bad at writing summaries of myself; And after discovering these things you were somehow still compelled to know more about me.
Who knew I was so interesting?

Well, I’m twenty-three, I live in Australia and I’ve loved reading, writing and all things literary since I was a teeny-weeny kidlet. I have a degree in Editing & Publishing and hope that one day I’ll be able to have a hand in publishing books that other kidlets will grow up on.

Currently, I work in hospitality. I’m a part-time barista / bar-lady. I sell cakes, which is odd since I don’t really like cake.

I have two BIG dogs, Bindi and Otto. These are my children:

BindiandOtto

They’re both rescue dogs. Bindi is very well behaved and fluffy and will follow you around because she is genetically coded with an overwhelming desire to be friends with everyone.
Otto is big and gangly (he is a great dane x) and doesn’t realise he is big and gangly. He looks fairly stupid and will use this to his advantage as he is actually very smart. Otto eats everything.

Aside from attending to the needs of my fur-children and reading, you can generally find me binge watching television in my bed, attempting photography with my DSLR, wining and dining around Sydney and adventuring far and wide. I’m never without accompanying music.

I started Tea Mouse in 2008 with the help of a close friend, Roslyn. We are still close friends, but the blog has been left to my (hopefully) capable hands!

If you’d like to know more about me, I’d love to hear from you. You can find me at any of the places below.

Welcome to Tea Mouse!
